Kinetic Typography - Self Control by Frank Ocean

Title Sequence - Night of the Living Dead

This started as an university project. I designed a title sequence for the classic horror film Night of the Living Dead. The goal was to re-imagine the film's opening through motion design, setting the eerie tone and atmosphere while honoring its legacy.

Using Premiere and After Effects, I crafted a visually striking sequence that blends typography, texture, and movement to evoke suspense and unease. Inspired by the film's stark black-and-white aesthetic, I experimented unsettling transitions to build tension.

This project allowed me to refine my storytelling skills in motion design, focusing on pacing, composition, and mood. It was a valuable exploration of how typography and animation can enhance cinematic narratives, strengthening my ability to create immersive visual experiences.

As part of my degree, I developed a kinetic typography animation inspired by Frank Ocean's song Self Control. This project, assigned by my professor, aimed to explores the relationship between motion, typography, and music to create a visually engaging storytelling experience.

Using After Effects, I synchronized dynamic text animations with the song's rhythm, mood, and lyrical flow. My focus was on conveying the emotion of the track through carefully chosen fonts, transitions, and pacing. Enhancing the listener's connection to the lyrics.

This project challenged me to refine my motion design skills, experiment with timing and typography hierarchy, and create a seamless visual experience. It strengthened my ability to translate sound into motion.

This video was created as collaborative project between my husband and me to introduce the new brand identity of Duplo Impacto Publicidade, where I worked. The goal was to present the rebranding in visually compelling way, showcasing the evolution of the company's design language, values, and modern aesthetic.

Using After Effects, we crafted a dynamic and engaging motion piece that highlights the key elements of the new identity, such as typography, color palette, logo animation, and overall visual style. Our focus was on creating smooth transitions, balanced compositions, and a professional yet creative presentation that aligns with brand's vision.

This project was a rewarding experience in teamwork, brand storytelling, and motion design. It reinforced the importance of visual consistency and effective communication in branding, while also allowing us to push our creative and technical skills.

Brand Identity Presentation - Duplo Impacto Publicidade

Wedding Planning Documentary

This video was created as part of a project of Carla Viana, CEO of Natur'Art. It was meant to showcase the complete wedding planning process, from the initial concept to the final event. It serves as a visual simulation of how Carla organizes weddings, highlighting the attention to detail, creativity, and coordination requires for flawless celebration.

Working collaboratively with my husband and Carla, we designed a storytelling approach that captures the journey of wedding planning, illustrating each stage—from venue selection and decor arrangements to the final execution of the event. Using Da Vinci Resolve, we crafted a cinematic and elegant presentation that aligns with Natur'Art aesthetic and professional standards.

This project was a valuable experience in visual storytelling, teamwork, and brand communication. It allowed us to translate the intricate wedding planning process into an engaging video format, reinforcing the importance of seamless execution and strong visual narratives.
